Saturday 7th December 2019 - Henry VIII Novices Chase - Grade 1 - 2m - Sandown
The Henry VIII Novices Chase betting will be here when released...
THE HENRY VIII NOVICES CHASE IS A PATTERN TRIAL RACE FOR THE ARKLE AT CHELTENHAM
The Henry VIII Novices Chase is a Grade 1 race run over two miles at Sandown Park each December. It became a Grade 1 affair in 2011 and is known as an important trial for the Arkle Chase at the Cheltenham Festival which ensures that it is always worth keeping a close eye on with Prestbury Park in mind.
Some excellent horses have won this race in recent years including Somersby, Al Ferof and Captain Conan who have all gone onto bigger and better things during their careers. Paul Nicholls and Nicky Henderson have a great record in this race between them and we can expect both Seven Barrows and Ditcheat to be strong again.
