Festival Handicap Chase Form

The Festival Handicap Chase (formerly the William Hill Trophy) is always one of the most highly anticipated races on the first day of the Cheltenham Festival and the 2016 race is set to be no different, it is a pure stamina test and with a big field involved there is always plenty of value on offer for punters here.

We will be following some of the potential runners through the season as we put together a comprehensive form guide for the race. There are however a number of races worth keeping an eye out for with in relation to this race, one of those is the Neptune Handicap Chase at Cheltenham in November.

This is a race that can also lead to a Grand National run either in the same season or in the future, it is a stamina test over the 3 mile trip so any horse finishing strongly and jumping well could be aimed towards a tilt at Aintree at some point in their careers.
