Two of the star equine attractions line up on day three of the Cheltenham Festival, but while Thistlecrack's popularity in the betting for the Ryanair World Hurdle continues, bookmakers are ready to take on Vautour in the Ryanair Chase, and he is a morning drifter in that Grade 1 event, and we pick out all the market movers here.
1:30pm - JLT Novices' Chase
A competitive Grade 1 opens proceedings at Prestbury Park, and punters are struggling to pick between the prominent trio of Bristol De Mai, Garde La Victorie and Outlander in the JLT Novices' Chase, but Zabana, who was tipped up by Racing Post's Pricewise at 12/1, has been clipped in a few points and he is now a best-priced 9/1 with Sky Bet Bookmakers for a real head-scratching curtain-raiser.
2:10pm - Pertemps Final
All Hell Let Loose scraped in at the bottom of the handicap for the Pertemps Final at 2:10pm, but Sandra Hughes' charge has been all the rage in the betting offices this morning, and having been tipped up at 50/1 this morning by Pricewise, he has plummeted in price, and is currently available at 20/1 with Sky Bet for the second race of the afternoon.
Our Kaempfer is another that has proven popular and having been available at prices as big as 12/1 he is now as short as 15/2 with the abovementioned Sky Bet, who are running scared of what could be another attractively handicapped horse.
2:50pm - Ryanair Chase
Vautour's appearance in Thursday's Ryanair Chase has divided opinion, but having been available at odds-on prices for the second Grade 1 of the day, he has been the horse the bookmakers have been out to get and having been a 4/6 shot with many bookmakers, he has gradually eased and is now available at 11/10 with Paddy Power, as he looks to bag his third festival win.
On the contrary, Thistlecrack's price of 5/4 has been solid as a rock in the Ryanair World Hurdle, as he aims to maintain his status as the elite staying hurdler, and having blossomed in the Cleeve Hurdle last time out punters are keen to stick with Colin Tizzard's charge, with no other rivals gaining any significant support in the betting.
David Pipe's Doctor Harper has been supported into favouritism in the days leading up to the Kim Muir Challenge Cup, which concludes a top notch card at 5:30pm, but Jonjo O'Neill's Upswing has proven popular and available at 12/1 in a place earlier in the day, he is now 7/1 with Betfred for what is another trappy betting heat.
