We head into day two of the Cheltenham Festival with bookmakers licking their wounds from an opening day treble for the deadly duo of Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh, but they aim to fight back on Wednesday afternoon, and we pick out some of the market movers here for what is set to be another enthralling afternoon at Prestbury Park.
1:30pm - Neptune Novices' Hurdle
Yanworth has been pencilled in as a banker for many in the Neptune Novices' Hurdle, but the inclusion of Yorkhill to the Grade 1 opener has had punters doubting themselves, and the Alan King-trained raider who sparkled on Festival Trials Day is now widely available at 6/4 with most firms, with in particular Betfred holding a confident stance about Yorkhill, who is as short as 2/1 with them.
Another spectacular British v Irish duel is set to take place at 2:10pm, but all the support in the betting offices has come for More Of That in the RSA Chase, who is a solid 7/4 shot with Paddy Power, having touched 6/4, and as the money pours in for Jonjo O'Neill's former World Hurdle hero, No More Heroes has eased in the betting, and is as big as 3/1 with bet365.
2:50pm - Coral Cup
A 26-runner handicap hurdle would often see a plethora of horses gaining support, but the money this morning has all been about Diamond King, who was not only handed the Pricewise treatment in the Racing Post, but has been heavily-supported all morning, and has been backed from 10/1 into 9/1, and it could be a lot shorter come the off.
3:30pm - Queen Mother Champion Chase
Un De Sceaux has been a rock-solid favourite throughout the morning and available at 5/6 with some firms for the Queen Mother Champion Chase, and the support for former champions Sprinter Sacre, Sire De Grugy and Dodging Bullets has not been shown yet, with the former being available at 11/2 with BetVictor bookmakers.
Diego Du Charmil has been backed in the ante-post markets in the lead-up to the Fred Winter, but a flurry of money has been swamped on outsider Coo Star Sivola, who having been available at 28/1 is now as short as 14/1 with Sky Bet, while Jaleo is another notable mover and is currently a 10/1 shot from 16s.
