He is the 5-4 favourite ahead of former Champion Chase winner Voy Por Ustedes on 7-2 in what is the best trial for the Cheltenham Gold Cup. He will need to win this race if he is to hold his position in the Gold Cup betting behind ante post market leader Denman.
Stan James PR Manager Laura Stephens said: Its fantastic that 11 horses should go to post for the Stan James UK King George. War Of Attrition was the only absentee and that was expected. Kauto Stars defeat in the Betfair Chase at Haydock last month has given other connections hope that he is beatable and the race has really opened up as a result. Stephens continued: We are delighted to pay out each-way bets on the first three places in each race and we also will be best odds guaranteed from 5pm today, Tuesday 23rd December.
