Paul Nicholls Is One Of The Most Successful Cheltenham Festival Trainers Of All Time
The summer can be long for a fan of jumps racing.
The National Hunt nut is a peculiar creature, they yearn for the return of the dark and cold days of the winter as the stars of the jumps game grace the stage on their way to the Cheltenham Festival.
Unfortunately that prospect remains a few months in the future but as we look to pass the time until the clocks change, we have another one of our brain teaser quizzes for punters to sink their teeth into.
Over the past twenty years we have seen Paul Nicholls emerge as one of the greatest trainers of all time with the star names rolling out of Ditcheat like super cars from a luxury garage. The former jockey has gone head-to-head with the likes of Willie Mullins and Nicky Henderson, among many others, at the Cheltenham Festival in particular and it is fair to say that he has had more than his fair share of success during that period.
In total, Nicholls has entered the Prestbury Park winners' enclosure 45 times between 1999 and 2019 and there he certainly isn't stopping there with the future looking bright for the Somerset handler.
The majority will remember the big names when it comes to the Ditcheat Festival winners but there are a host of perhaps less obvious names in the history books that could well prove much tougher to remember.
Play our quiz below and see how many of the famous Paul Nicholls Chetenham Festival winners you can name and don't forget that cheaters never prosper... :)
