There are less than four weeks to go until the serious business of the Cheltenham Races at the 2019 Festival get underway.
The Jumps Racing Podcast return and they have put all of their conkers in a Champion Hurdle shaped bag as they analyse the feature race on Day One of the Cheltenham Festival.
Russ Palmer from TheSportsman.com joins the usual hosts, Chris and Sean, to discuss a potentially thrilling battle between two-time defending champion Buveur D'Air and Apple's Jade in this year's Champion Hurdle. The lads provide a full-ante post preview, pick their 1-2-3 result for the big race on the Tuesday of the Festival and they have hunted down a bit of each-way value too.
This week's edition in our A-To-Z series of cult racing heroes carries on the Champion Hurdle theme as it's a three-time winner who some have argued could have arguably achieved even greater things if it hadn't been for his colourful and controversial owner. Give the pod a listen to find out which horse makes the cut this week.
There's also good news as racing makes a welcome return to British shores following the equine flu chaos of last week and there is a bumper card on Saturday at Ascot, where we can look forward to the Ascot Chase, Denman Chase and Betfair Hurdle.
The lads preview the best of the action and Sean offers up his best bets for Saturday.
