Neptune Investment Novices' Hurdle Odds
Wednesday 15th March 2017 - Neptune Investment Novices Hurdle
A competitive race looks on the cards amongst the market leaders with all seemingly possessing good form. We saw a top class winner of the Neptune in 2014 when Faugheen won as a short priced favourite, before he went onto win the Champion Hurdle the following season, while Ireland scored again last season as Mullins once again picked up the spoils with Yorkhill.
Neon Wolf will be a warm order for the Neptune, which kicks off day two of the Cheltenham Festival, but the Harry Fry-trained raider will face some lively opposition in the shape of Bacardys, who is a leading Irish contender, with Messire Des Obeaux and Consul De Thaix adding more depth to the race.
13:30 Neptune Investment Management Novices' Hurdle (Grade 1)
1.Wiloughby Court - B Pauling - D Bass - 14/1
2.Neon Wolf - H Fry - N Fehily - 2/1f
3.Messire Des Obeaux - A King - D Jacob - 8/1
